AVP-Claim (PMFBY+ In-house product)

Hyderabad • Full-time • 9-11 years experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end claims process, from claim intimation, required documentation, coordination with the deputed surveyors, investigation, negotiation & settlement within expected timeline.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding claims-related inquiries and updates, providing timely and accurate information.
Review insurance policies to determine coverage, adequacy of sum insured and ensure compliance with policy terms and conditions.
Analyse claims data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process, coverage & price improvement.
Stay up to date on industry regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of business, claims activity including risk assessment, correspondence, and settlements.
Knowledge of GIS based Assessment Claims.
Claims reporting of information to internal and external authorities in specified formats.
Knowledge on handling grievance and reporting format as per the IRDAI guidelines.
Assessment, Quality check and settlement of Crop claims.

Required Skills:

Must have Experience of 9-11 years in retail claims settlement.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in Crop Insurance business.
Good in Communication, Microsoft Advance Excel and PPT.

Educational Qualification:

Graduate/MSc Agri/Agri Graduate/preferably agricultural related graduate degree.
