Events
1. Punjab Flood Relief – Khalsa Aid India
Kshema General Insurance extended support to Khalsa Aid India for their Punjab flood relief efforts. Khalsa Aid, known for its humanitarian work across India and abroad, initiated rehabilitation activities under the Murh Vaseba 2025 project in Gurdaspur district and other flood-affected areas.
Their phased plan, where Kshema’s contribution is being utilised, includes the distribution of ration and essentials, cleaning of homes and farmland, and direct support to farmers through diesel and tools for land restoration. They have also committed to rebuilding damaged riverbanks.
This initiative reflects Kshema’s commitment to standing with farmers and rural communities during times of crisis.
2. Vegesna Foundation
Kshema General Insurance supported the Vegesna Foundation in enhancing essential infrastructure for specially challenged children.
This year, our CSR contribution helped renovate and upgrade washroom facilities at the foundation’s Punarvas Building, which plays a key role in hosting therapy, counselling, and administrative activities.
The improvements have created a cleaner, safer, and more accessible environment for children, caregivers, and staff—directly enriching the daily routines and overall wellbeing of the students.
This initiative reflects Kshema’s continued commitment to empowering specially challenged children and strengthening organizations that work tirelessly to support them.
3. SSSIHMS Foundation
Kshema General Insurance partnered with SSSIHMS Welfare Society, Bengaluru, to enhance their hospital food service operations.
As part of our FY 2025–26 CSR initiative, we supported the hospital by providing a high‑capacity automatic vegetable cutting machine that strengthens their kitchen efficiency and daily meal preparation.
The equipment has improved the speed and consistency of food processing, reduced manual effort for kitchen staff, and supported higher standards of hygiene and safety. With this upgrade, the hospital can prepare nutritious meals more efficiently for patients and caregivers who rely on their services.
This initiative reflects Kshema’s commitment to strengthening healthcare institutions and supporting efforts that improve community wellbeing, dignity, and care.
4. Samarthanam Trust
Kshema General Insurance partnered with Samarthanam Trust to enhance health and hygiene conditions in government aided schools in Hyderabad.
Through this initiative, we helped create cleaner, safer learning environments for children from underserved communities.
Our support included installing RO drinking water systems, providing essential washroom maintenance materials, distributing hygiene kits, and conducting WASH awareness sessions. We also enabled menstrual hygiene workshops for adolescent girls and supplied first‑aid kits to strengthen basic health preparedness.
These efforts have improved students’ access to safe drinking water, increased hygiene awareness, and supported more dignified sanitation facilities—making a positive difference in their daily school experience.
This initiative underscores Kshema’s commitment to empowering children and fostering healthier learning ecosystems across communities.
5. IUCN
Kshema General Insurance partnered with IUCN India as part of its CSR initiatives to support biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, and sustainable development across India.
Through this collaboration, Kshema contributed to initiatives focused on ecosystem restoration, nature-based solutions, and community led conservation efforts across forests, wetlands, marine, and agricultural landscapes. These interventions have helped strengthen ecological resilience, support sustainable livelihoods, and enhance community capacity to respond to climate and environmental challenges.
This initiative reinforces Kshema’s commitment to responsible growth, environmental stewardship, and supporting organizations that work towards protecting nature while improving human well-being.
1. Supporting Specially Challenged Children – Vegesna Foundation
At Kshema, we believe that every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their abilities. Through our partnership with the Vegesna Foundation, we provided funding for classroom equipment tailored to the needs of specially challenged children.
This initiative is close to our hearts, as it directly supports inclusive education and empowers children with disabilities to learn and grow in a nurturing environment. By enhancing their learning spaces, we aim to foster confidence and independence among these young minds.
This effort reflects our commitment to building a more equitable society. We’re proud to contribute to a future where every child has the tools they need to succeed.
2. Renovating Community Infrastructure – Vamsee Cultural and Educational Trust
We extended our support to the Vamsee Cultural and Educational Trust by funding the renovation of two buildings that serve as vital community hubs. These spaces are home to underprivileged children, senior citizens, and local artists, and our goal was to ensure they have safe, clean, and functional environments.
The transformation of these facilities has not only improved living conditions but also uplifted the morale of the residents. This project aligns with our objective of socio-economic development and community empowerment.
By investing in infrastructure, we’re investing in dignity, safety, and opportunity. It’s our way of giving back to the communities that inspire us.
3. Promoting Renewable Energy – Solar Power Installation at Vamsee Trust
Sustainability is a core pillar of our CSR vision, and we took a significant step forward by funding a 15 kW ON Grid Solar System at the Vamsee Cultural and Educational Trust.
This initiative reduces the Trust’s dependency on conventional energy sources and lowers operational costs, allowing more resources to be directed toward community welfare. By embracing clean energy, we’re not only reducing our environmental footprint but also promoting long-term ecological balance. This project demonstrates our belief in creating sustainable solutions that benefit both people and the planet.
We’re committed to being a responsible corporate citizen, and this is just one of many steps in that journey.
