Kumar Saurav brings over 20 years of experience in his role as the Chief Risk Officer. He has been associated with the company since July 2023 and devises effective strategies to remain vigilant and manage multiple forms of risks. An accomplished risk professional, he is responsible for leading the Enterprise Risk Management initiative and providing assurance to the Risk Management Committee on the company’s exposure to Key Risks. Karambir brings over 25 years of varied and rich experience from different parts of the globe to his current role at Kshema where he drives Sales & Distribution. He joined the company in July 2023 to bolster Kshema’s expansion, combining global best-practices and market-insights to turn revenue-generation as the engine fueling Kshema’s growth. He does this by dipping into his experience across multiple sectors like telecom, financial services, entertainment, FMCG, consumer goods from his stints in Asia, Africa and Oceania. A half-marathoner, Karambir likes to indulge in Marlon Brando memorabilia and read World War era biographies when he is not busy plotting the next growth strategy for Kshema. Dr Burugupalli is a veteran of the insurance industry with an illustrious career spanning over 45 years in different regulatory regimes across continents.
