Kshema Home insurance is a type of insurance policy that provides financial protection against damage to your home and belongings caused by specific risks, such as fire.
Fire Coverage:
We give insurance cover for physical loss or damage, or destruction caused to Insured Property by fire causing unforeseen events during the Policy Period.
It is the requirement of this Insurance that the Sum Insured shall be equal to the market value. Insured may also opt for reinstatement value Sum Insured basis for home building, home contents.
- Bullion, unset precious stones, curios, works of art exceeding Rs.10,000/-, goods held in trust, manuscripts, plans, drawings, securities, documents, stamps, coins, paper money, cheques, books of accounts, computer records, explosives.
- Fermentation, natural heating, spontaneous combustion.

- Electrical machine malfunctions.

The owner/occupants of the property (dwelling and contents) with insurable interest can insure an asset.
- Inform the insurer immediately via online, distribution channel, call centre, or specified mode.
- Claims won’t be rejected for lack of documents or delay. Submit required documents during underwriting.
- Provide claim form, FIR, Un-traced Report, Fire Brigade Report, repair bills (if applicable).
- Supply any additional details and documents related to the claim.
- Ensure all compliance conditions are met for the claim to be payable.
- Claims must be made within 12 months of the incident.
- The policyholder can cancel the policy at any time without providing reasons.
- The company can cancel the policy on grounds of established fraud with a minimum 7-day notice.
- Refunds are provided for the unexpired policy period if no claims have been made.
The Company shall neither be bound to issue any renewal notice nor to accept renewal premium thereunder. Unless renewed as herein provided, this Policy shall terminate at the expiration of the period for which the premium has been paid.
Kshema Home Insurance can be purchased for 1/5/10/15/20/25 years.
