You can apply through Kshema app from your registered mobile number.
If you are using an Android mobile phone, go to the Play Store, type “Kshema app”, select and download to install. Register on the app.
Loss or Damage caused by the operation of any two of the following Perils selected by the farmer. The farmer can select one (1) peril from each of the categories.
Major Perils
a) Cyclone
b) Flood
c) Hailstorm
d) Inundation (Not applicable to Hydrophilic crops)
Minor Perils
a) Animal Attack by Monkey / Wild Boar / Elephant / Rabbit only for a maximum Sum Insured of 25% of the policy Sum Insured
b) Earthquake
c) Landslide
d) Natural fire due to lightening
As decided by Us based on the cost of cultivation for each crop with respect to the location of the farm. The Sum Insured under animal attack coverage is restricted for a maximum Sum Insured of 25% of the policy Sum Insured.
Policy incepts from the next day of sowing or receipt of premium whichever is later.
Enrolment into Kshema App, submission of proposal form, capturing Farm Polygon,
submitting land record, Tenancy certificate if tenant Farmer KYC and any other documents as required based on the proposal
Loss is assessed through remote sensing technology and satellite imagery.
There is no any Renewal Benefit/No Claim Bonus applicable under this Policy
Yes, you can cancel this Policy at any time by giving Us notice in writing or through Kshema Application. The Policy will terminate when we receive Your notice.
The policy will terminate in the following scenarios:
• Harvest of the Crop
• Destruction of crop due to an uninsured event
• Payment of full sum insured in case of a Total Loss
